The final chapter of the novel leaves us with some of Slothrop’s scattered consciousness, including thoughts on Dillinger, the FBI, sadomasochism, militarized police, a crazy number of myths and religions, Nixon, space travel, adenoids, and elevators. On top of that, we finally see the launch of the 00000 and realize its purpose.
