Gravity's Rainbow - An Analysis
How does Gravity's Rainbow reveal the hidden worlds that have been built to extract and commodify our humanity?
To me, there has never been a true written analysis of Gravity’s Rainbow that hits the mark. There have been some that have analyzed it on a literary level, some that have discussed its psychological, historical, or social themes, some that even get halfway close, but no one (that I’ve found) has ever done a full written analysis on its true socio-political and socio-economic implications. I am in no way an expert in Pynchon or literature of any sort, but, in my opinion, that will only help remove my ideas from the built structures that often obscure the novel’s true intentions.
I will be posting at least one piece per chapter (sometimes more), along with other pieces talking about parts as a whole, epigraphs, etc. (Note: this will not be a insanely in depth line-by-line analysis or one that analyzes every name and oddity that is mentioned in the book [not for the first run, at least…], but it will still be quite in depth.) If you enjoy this idea, consider subscribing down below! This will remain a free resource for all, for eternity (I promise), however, I may eventually make an optional paid option so you can help support my useless vices (or just help me buy stuff for my class).
